Relying on AI to migrate SAS applications to Databricks® can lead to serious data integrity problems. SAS uses features that are difficult for AI to interpret such as nested macros, SAS formats, SAS programmer "tricks", and hidden SAS Language defaults. These and other "black box" behaviors require deeper understanding and critical thinking.
